The first act is where we see Macbeth decidingto murder King Duncan. He wasseduced by supernatural prophecies, his own ambition, his wife's words and an unexpected opportunity.

Scene 1: Thunder and lightning. The gloomy wasteland where three witches werestanding. They persuade them to reconnect hereafter, the ongoing battle in the neighbourhood was over in the morning. The witches expect that the main participant in this battle, the Scottish commander Macbeth, will travel through the wasteland.
